PayPal P2P integration could help over 1.3 billion monthly users of Messenger globally, giving them an option to send money to friends without leaving Messenger app. Facebook Messenger users will have to click on the blue plus icon to get starters.

Sending money via Messenger was previously handled by linking a debit card or bank account to your Facebook account, and while there isn't anything wrong with this implementation, the ability to alternatively use your PayPal funds is a nice touch for those that are heavily reliant on PayPal's services.

In India, messenger app Hike already allows the same with its peer-to-peer (P2P) payments system. According to PayPal, more than 2.5 million users have connected their accounts to shop on Messenger via its service since then. To send money hit the + button and then hit the Green button of payments. Moreover, the utilization of PayPal can also be made in shopping on Messenger and booking rides through various ride-hailing services.

Customers could also choose to link their PayPal account with Messenger in order to receive notifications and receipts from their online transactions within Messenger. It'll bring up two options and you can just move on with PayPal from there. This bot will help you in tasks like answering questions, requests for help and resetting passwords.

Skype and, now, Facebook Messenger are just some of the chat services that allow users to send money.
