Susan Sarandon thinks Hillary Clinton would have been 'very dangerous' as president

  • Actress Susan Sarandon has been at the receiving end of threatening text messages

Sarandon didn't "exactly" say Clinton was "more unsafe than Trump" - but doesn't mind the quote: "I did think she was very, very risky". Are you going to do something?' And she said she's just so worn out.

Susan Sarandon campaigning for Bernie Sanders during the 2016 presidential campaign.

Sarandon is a hardcore liberal who does not support President Donald Trump, but suggested he was a better choice than Hillary, whom she called "not authentic" and "an opportunist".

Sarandon didn't just vote for Jill Stein, she actively worked against Hillary Clinton, posting tweets attacking the Democratic nominee as late in the game as October 4. "But he didn't go all the way because of big pharma".

"Misogynistic attacks", Sarandon complained, referring to her harassers as "Hillary Trolls'".

"I did think she was very unsafe", Sarandon said in an interview with The Guardian, as she continues to attract criticism from Clinton loyalists over her support for Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders and her subsequent vote for Green Party candidate Jill Stein during the 2016 election. She claims that things "wouldn't be much smoother" if Hillary Clinton would have won the election, and that there were still a lot of women out there who must've been flattered to be sleeping with Harvey Weinstein and James Toback. "Look what happened under Obama that we didn't notice".

Head to The Guardian to read Sarandon's full interview, where she talks more about politics and her thoughts on Hollywood's sexual harassment scandal.

"She [Hillary] would've done it the way Obama did it, which was sneakily", Sarandon said told The Guardian.

"I was preparing [to play] Bette Davis (in FX series 'Feud"), who also had similar problems with the studio and faced similar problems as she got older, and it's certainly familiar grounds still for me, ' Susan concluded on the subject. "I didn't advocate people voting for anything". What we should be discussing is not the election, but how we got to the point where Trump was the answer... you can't judge by the mainstream media what's going on in the country.

Sarandon had to change her phone number after not supporting Clinton's presidential run due to "Hillary people" who sent her messages like "I hope your crotch is grabbed" and "I hope you're raped".
