Inside linebacker Natrez Patrick and receiver Jayson Stanley were arrested only a few hours after Georgia's 28-7 win over Auburn in the SEC Championship.

Patrick was arrested on a misdemeanor marijuana charge, while Stanley was arrested for DUI, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and speeding.

However, now it has been revealed that Patrick, who was arrested for a misdemeanor marijuana charge, was the passenger in teammate Jayson Stanley's vehicle.

The junior was arrested in Barrow County late Saturday night on an unspecified misdemeanor charge, according to the Barrow County online jail report.

Patrick is Georgia's sixth-leading tackler with 35 stops, and he had three tackles in the SEC championship game. This is his third marijuana-related arrest. He was also arrested on the same charges as a freshman in 2015 and was suspended one game.

Stanley has been a special teams standout on the kickoff and punt return teams as a gunner. Patrick was recently arrested for possession of marijuana in Athens-Clarke County in October.

This was Patrick's third arrest since he arrived on campus at Georgia three years ago.

After the Georgia Tech win to end the regular season, Patrick said he was "so grateful to be on a team like this", after serving his suspension. "Mistakes are made", Patrick said.
