"It feels so earthy, it's just where you are in your life right now", Pharrell said.

But that's not all.

At least one national music blog noted how Timberlake's album announcement resembled the work of a Wisconsin music maker well-loved in the Twin Cities (one who famously made his first album in a cabin in the woods): "Pretty amusing that the pop star who once parodied Bon Iver on SNL has now apparently made his very own Bon Iver album", wrote Stereogum.

Justin Timberlake has just announced the release of his fifth studio album, Man of the Woods - and as expected, fans cannot contain their excitement.

More news: They're already ringing in the new year around the world

Justin Timberlake and James Taylor play a duet in the kitchen at a party in Big Sky, Montana.

The trailer for Man Of The Woods hit the Internet today (Jan. 2) which showed Timberlake looking down-south rugged with a scruffy beard and traveling through the countryside along with one song that sounds primed for pop and country radio.

While it's too early to tell what the record will sound like, snippets of what are likely to be parts of Man of the Woods are embedded within the visual. Also involved: Timberlake's wife, Jessica Biel-in a cowboy hat, naturally-and son, Silas. "But more so than any album I've ever written, where I'm from". What do you think of him trading his "Rock Your Body" moves for mountains and streams? With everything being released before his Super Bowl performance, time can only tell if he will perform any music from the album.
