In the lawsuit filed Thursday, Corfman cites attacks from Moore and his campaign.

Kayla Moore, the wife of failed Republican Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore, confirmed the identify of the lawyer to whom she was referring when she said "one of our attorneys is a Jew" at a December rally. Corfman said he took off her shirt and trousers and removed his clothes except for his underwear before touching her over her bra and underpants. Corfman told two friends about what happened to her at the time, one of whom remembers the older man was named Roy Moore. Moore refused to concede the race, although Jones' margin of victory was too high for an automatic recount.

How many other things did Moore tell her that she just accepted...?

Tellingly, Mr. Moore initially suggested to Mr. Hannity that he "dated a lot of young ladies", including teenage girls, when Mr. Moore was in his 30s, and stated with regards to these allegations, including Ms. Corfman's: "I'm not going to dispute anything, but I don't remember anything like that". He claimed the allegations were an "effort by Mitch McConnell and his cronies to steal this election from the people of Alabama".

In a Thursday statement provided to Al.com, Corfman said, "The decision to sue Mr. Moore and his campaign committee was hard, but they need to be held responsible for their actions". "By this lawsuit, I seek to do what I could not do as a 14-year-old - hold Mr. Moore and those who enable him accountable".

In a statement to AL.com, she said she is suing because Moore and his campaign called her a "liar and immoral", and ignored her requests to cease his attacks. In a church speech, he dismissed the misconduct allegations against him as 'dirty politics.' Moore, who filed an unsuccessful lawsuit seeking to stop the certification of the Alabama election, submitted an affidavit saying the accusations were false and malicious and that he passed a polygraph test.

Corfman told the paper in November that when Moore was a 32-year-old local prosecutor in 1979, he took her to his house, undressed her and touched her over her underpants and bra.

Corfman's suit asks the court to force Moore to " retract all defamatory statements made against Ms. Corfman, to publicly apologize for these defamatory statements, and to refrain from making further defamatory statements".
