James Damore, the Google employee who was sacked after circulating an anti-diversity memo last August, isn't over his dismissal apparently as he has now filed a lawsuit against his former employer.

In August, Google fired Damore for "perpetuating gender stereotypes".

"Google's open hostility for conservative thought is paired with invidious discrimination on the basis of race and gender".

Damore's fellow plaintiff in the class action is another Google employee, a former software engineer named David Gudeman.

Photo James Damore's lawsuit against Google, which fired him previous year after he criticized its diversity efforts, said, "Google's open hostility for conservative thought is paired with invidious discrimination on the basis of race and gender". "This included employment and business-related topics such as "'diversity" hiring policies, "bias sensitivity" or "social justice.'" The lawsuit also alleges that Google uses illegal hiring quotas in order to fill positions with female and minority candidates.

Mr. Damore has battled publicly with Google since he was sacked in August for writing an internal memo criticizing the company's efforts to increase diversity among its workforce, initiatives he said discriminated against white men.

"We were sort of brainwashed to believe that this was the natural course of things", he said.

When asked if he would want to be reinstated at Google, Damore said he would welcome the chance to return and felt he could help improve the culture there.

Google did not immediately reply to a Law&Crime request for comment. Google denied those claims to NBC News.
