Lee's Langham commits to Florida over Bama, Auburn

When 4-star WR Jacob Copeland picked the Florida Gators on Wednesday, not everyone was thrilled by his decision.

As soon as Copeland, ranked fifth in the USA among high school receivers, grabbed a Florida hat and announced he would play for the Gators rather than Alabama or Tennessee, Copeland's mother left the table.

His mother, wearing a long-sleeved Alabama shirt and a Tennessee hat (!), promptly got up out of her chair and walked away after her son chose Florida over the other two SEC programs.

As Copeland made his choice to play for the Gators, a look of disgust came over his mother's face, but it didn't stop there. Copeland is a wide receiver from Escambia High School in Pensacola, Fla. His exact line to ESPN was: "I can't go with my mom". When they know in their hearts that they want to attend a certain school for the next three or four years, you support them. This didn't seem to be what his mom wanted. This is arguably the biggest day of Jacob Copeland's life and his mother's act is overshadowing it.

The good news is, though, that his mother did come back later and hug him.

Dorian Gerald, the nation's No. 1-ranked JUCO defensive end, could be a late addition to the class.
