The saga involving the intent behind Golden State Warriors center Zaza Pachulia's awkward fall over Russell Westbrook has brought many sides to the argument since the highly-anticipated Saturday night matchup concluded. Young's rebound led him and Westbrook to collide, then suddenly, Pachulia also fell on the latter's leg. In short, Westbrook believes Pachulia did try to hurt him. But I watched the tape.

"Don't ask me dumb questions, man".

The Kiwi center was asked if his Oklahoma City Thunder would feel the need to retaliate in the same way a starting pitcher would be tasked with pelting an opposing batter for a prior transgression of a brushback pitch or an intentional hit-by-pitch in a game.

"Nobody touched me. He fell over my leg", Westbrook noted. "He is clumsy as a lot of big guys are". It might have tripped him up a bit. But it did look to the fans' view, and I'm sure to Westbrook, it looked like a weird play, but I slowed it down and I seen some clips and pictures everywhere. He tried to hurt me. "It was an unfortunate play, and I'm glad Russ didn't get hurt". You still go to jail, I think, when you're texting and you end up killing somebody but may have not meant to do that.

Thunder forward Paul George agreed Pachulia's move appeared intentional.

"You know his history". Nobody pushed him. He aimed his fall. Pachulia was right there and slammed his body right into Westbrook.

Ultimately the National Basketball Association found that there was not enough evidence to punish Zaza for his latest controversial play, which was probably the right call.

Initial replays appeared to prove that Zaza may have done it on goal because of the slow nature of his fall. They haven't said if Pachulia is going to get a fine or possibly suspension.
