Now starring on Netflix's One Day at at Time, Moreno has won two primetime Emmys-for appearances on The Muppet Show and The Rockford Files-a Grammy for best recording for children for The Electric Company, and a Tony for best featured actress in a play for The Ritz.

Rita Moreno is a true red carpet star. Flying in for the 1962 ceremony, she could never have foreseen that she'd make history, or that she'd be pulling out the same look again four decades later.

"This is a 56-year-old gown that I wore when I won my Oscar in 1962", the actress shared on the red carpet.

When she first wore the glamorous gown, Moreno won the Best Supporting Actress award for her role in West Side Story - marking the actress's first Oscar win.

Five years later, she proved that she can still rock the dress while presenting the award for Best Foreign Language Film.

She has multiple Emmys - one for individual performance in a variety or music program in 1977 and another for guest actress in "The Rockford Files" in 1978.

"I would think it would tarnish!" she told Ryan Seacrest during the E! red carpet broadcast, reported by Vanity Fair. It's clearly undergone some alterations, from a halter to a strapless gown, and Moreno added a gold necklace, some serious earrings, a big old bracelet, black headband, and her daughter as her date.

I just love - it was an fantastic night. Two widely admired veterans won their first Oscars: Allison Janney ("I, Tonya") took best supporting actress and Sam Rockwell ("Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri") won best supporting actor.
