  • Man Utd contact Neymar: Jose Mourinho desperate to land PSG star

"It can be that in the next 10 years someone will pay 400 million, or sooner, I do not know".

Philippe Coutinho would be delighted if PSG star Neymar was to re-sign for Barcelona.

Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic has kept the door open for a potential return for Neymar, who is claimed to want to leave Paris Saint Germain. "Not only because of the relationship I have with him, but because of the type of player he is".

Real Madrid are also in the running for the winger, with Florentino Perez a huge admirer of Neymar, who he almost signed before he joined Barca.

Telefoot also reported Al-Khelaifi and sporting director Antero Henrique will travel to Brazil for talks with Neymar, who preferred a return to his native land for ankle treatment rather than staying in Paris (h/t Marca).

"There was also the talk about stepping out of the shadows of Lionel Messi, but really?"

"He has not told me anything; but, if it's up to me, I would open the door right now", he said.

Neymar has had a mixed start to life in Paris and speculation abounds about his future despite only joining the team a year ago.

"I am thinking as Rakitic does, I would like to have here the best players and Neymar is one of them", said Coutinho.

"But I can not see him leaving", he added.

Over the past month or so, several reports have suggested that Neymar isn't happy at PSG and would even be interested in joining Barca's biggest rivals Real this summer.

A serious back injury saw him miss the infamous 7-1 demolition job by Germany in the semi-finals - but he sees World Cup success as his priority for 2018.
