Stormy Daniels said Saturday that her work in the porn industry has helped her prepare for the global attention she faces on the eve of a much-anticipated television interview about her alleged affair with Donald Trump and the hush money she says she received to keep it quiet.

"Being in the adult industry, I've developed a thick skin and maybe a little bit of a dark sense of humour", she told The Washington Post on Saturday (March 24).

Trump's camp is threatening a $20 million lawsuit for breach of that contract, something that Daniels and lawyer Michael Avenatti believe is nothing more than a bullying tactic.

Clifford went to court to break her silence about her alleged affair with President Donald Trump more than 10 years ago, and said that Trump's lawyer paid her $130,000 to stay silent before the 2016 election, CNN reported.

They say she broke a non-disclosure deal signed before the 2016 presidential elections, which she claims is invalid.

Stormy Daniels says she had an affair with Mr Trump that began in 2006 and lasted for several months and that it was shortly after the President's wife Melania gave birth to the couple's first son Barron.

Daniels has been hit with an influx of hate on social media in regards to her affair with the president.

Daniels' legal name is Stephanie Clifford.

Adult film actress/director Stormy Daniels appears at the Wicked Pictures booth at the 2017 AVN Adult Entertainment Expo at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on January 18, 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

"I didn't do this to get any sort of approval from anyone or recognition", she said.

Attorney Michael Cohen filed court documents last week that claimed each violation of her agreement carries a $1million penalty.

That big interview with Daniels, again, is on 60 Minutes tonight...
