Apple has pushed out the iOS 11.3 update for its iPhones and iPads, bringing a feature that's been highly anticipated since the company's battery management scheme came to light late previous year.

iOS 11.3 and macOS 10.13.4 introduce updated data and privacy information that makes it easier than ever for users to understand how their personal data may be used.

Apple has made good on Cook's promise with iOS 11.3. Anyone with an iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone SE, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus can disable the power management option created to prevent unexpected shutdowns as a battery ages. It includes a long lst of new features that Apple has been promising for months, such as the new Battery Health tool, which we explained in detail here. Dubbed as version "11.3" the update brings no new feature to the table, instead it focuses on stability, fixing bugs, enhancing performance and the other usual under the hood stuff. The company expects that developers will use ARKit to create experiences like interactive movie posters and museums filled with dynamic virtual exhibits. Apple simply notes that their latest update to the HomePod software "includes general improvements for stability and quality".
