John Krasinski and Emily Blunt took their marriage to the big screen for their upcoming thriller, A Quiet Place.

The former "The Office US" alumnus, 38, has been married to English actress Blunt for almost eight years, and they have two daughters together. Then if she said yes, I'll do it for you that would've felt weird for me and I wouldn't have been able to direct her in same way. When the audience cheered at the mention of the Girl on the Train star's name, Krasinski joked, "That reaction means I married up, and don't I know it".

Blunt and Krasinski are starring alongside each other as a married couple in the new Krasinski-directed horror film A Quiet Place, opening April 6.

Blunt admitted to having a feeling that she and Krasinski would have a spark. 'Whenever I'm considering a project, I always think how it's going to affect the lives of my daughters. In a statement to People magazine, "I never have loved my wife more than after we did this movie, and we were really nervous about it". That's especially true of young Millicent Simmonds who Krasinski says was instrumental to the vision of the film. She had such incredible ideas and I learned so much from her. I would love that! To further explain how lucky he feels to be married to Blunt, Krasinski recalled being questioned by a customs officer that he was in fact married to Blunt, while traveling to London. John visited Emily, whom he married in 2010, nearly every weekend through filming. "Having two actors who work amazingly off each other and to have them in the same scene as you is pretty insane".

Krasinski described working with Blunt as "the best experience ever", so because of that he's now "retiring".
