In Fortnite, Vending Machines spawn at random locations on the map and there are five levels of rarity.

The big addition to battle royale with this week's content update is the Vending Machine.

Each vending machine will cycle through three different items on a short timer, though you can speed that up by hitting it with your pickaxe. Epic Games has apologised for the inconvenience and is looking into the issue.

Fortnite's iconic island is now dotted with vending machines, which will give you all kinds of guns and goodies in exchange for building resources.

Fortnite 's latest Content Update just added Vending Machines, and we want to help you find one. There's also no limit to the number of items a vending machine can produce, so these certainly have the potential of producing some well-armed enemies if enough people find them.

Items found in an Uncommon (green) version will cost 200 materials.

Items found in a Epic (purple) version will cost 400 materials. As expected, there's at least one vending machine in almost every named location on the map.

Items found in a Legendary (gold) version will cost 500 materials. And now those clever souls at Epic have released the fan-favourite battle royale game on mobile, so NOW you can play it anywhere!

This content update will also introduce a new limited-time mode, an altered version of the explosive weapon-centric playlist High Explosives.

It appears there will be a set amount of places on the map which will see Vending Machines appear, but they won't always been in the same place.
