He criticized the Chief Minister over "maintaining silence" on the involvement of two senior Ministers responsible for adding communal colour to "shameful act" of murder to serve their vested interests.

Since 1989, there has been an armed revolt in the Muslim-majority Kashmir valley against Indian rule - they valley is adjacent to Hindu-majority Jammu. The state government has taken action against the erring doctors and they have been suspended.

The residents of Rasana village had also migrated to Hiranagar as a protest and blocked a road against the PDP-BJP government alleging harassment.
