Liverpool's Mohammed Salah, Manchester United's David De Gea, Tottenham's Harry Kane and Manchester City trio of Kevin De Bruyne, David Silva and Leroy Sane have all been nominated for the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) Players' Player of the Year award.

For Player of The Year, Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne and Liverpool winger, Mohammed Salah, are favourites.

Sane's exceptional season means he is also up for the Young Player of the Year award, alongside teammates Raheem Sterling and Ederson.

Mohamed Salah has been in sensational form Liverpool this season, having registered 29 goals and five assists in the Premier League this season.

International Egyptian player Mohamed Salah aspires to be the second Arabic and African player to win the Premier League Player of the year after Algerian Riyad Mahrez won it in the 2015/2016 season.

The Spain playmaker has eight goals and 11 assists to his name in a City team which has dominated the competition this year.

Kane trails him by four goals in the league and three goals overall for the season, and the two are competing with one another to claim the Premier League's Golden Boot. The Spanish worldwide has kept 16 clean sheets in the league this season as Jose Mourinho's side look to keep pace with Man City as best they can.

Hence the reason they have three players on the list.

Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane is up for more year-end awards this season.

The victor will be announced at the PFA's annual awards ceremony in London on Sunday, April 22.

The impregnable Spaniard leads the league for clean-sheets (16) and since he's saved over 100 shots over the course of the season, it just goes to tell you that the 27-year-old is really worth his weight in gold.
