  • Man Breaks Into Taylor Swift's House Showers and Sleeps in Her Bed

A man has been arrested after breaking into Taylor Swift's apartment in New York City on Friday, ET confirms.

Alvarado apparently used a ladder to access a window which he then smashed in order to gain entry. They called the police immediately, but Alvarado made the most of the time that he had in the posh home before they arrived.

Officers investigating a reported break-in on Friday found 22-year-old Roger Alvarado asleep in the pop star's home in the Tribeca neighbourhood.

Luckily, Taylor wasn't home at the time. She bought the house a few months ago, but has yet to reside there - that's the issue with being a multi-millionaire with several real estate opportunities. He was arrested earlier this year at the exact same address after trying to break in by bashing the door down with a shovel.

Taylor Swift recently experienced another scary incident involving a odd man trying to make himself at home in one of the properties she owns.

Police arrested Alvarado, a resident of Homestead, Florida, for stalking, burglary, criminal mischief and trespassing. Julius Sandrock had been arrested wearing a mask and rubber gloves.

Fortunately for Swift, the singer wasn't at the apartment at the time and has actually never lived there-she just owns the property.

"So just wanted to say thanks and 18 days 'til tour and I can't wait to see you", she added.
