Following allegations of sexual misconduct against longtime NBC News anchor Tom Brokaw - and Brokaw's denial of any wrongdoing - more than 60 of Brokaw's past and present female colleagues at the Peacock Network have come to his defense.

Ms. Vester's attorney, Ari Wilkenfeld, said, "My client stands by the allegations, which speak for themselves".

Brokaw addressed the NY hotel incident, saying that Vester "often sought me out for informal meetings, including the one she describes in her NY hotel room".

Brokaw has denied the allegations and attempted to counter each of her claims in the letter he sent to NBC colleagues.

The report also detailed the claims of an anonymous woman who told the Post that Brokaw acted inappropriately toward her during her time as a production assistant in the 1990s. MSNBC's Mika Brzezinski said she would like to add her name to the list once it went public.

The Post reported that it had talked to 12 current or former NBC staffers who said they were sexually harassed at the network but did not report it to anyone.
