They'll come with iOS 12 and macOS Mojave, both of which are due out later this year.

With the new color scheme, Mac programs and controls will recede into the desktop's background, letting other content such as pictures, graphics, and video "pop" off the screen, Apple said during its developer conference on Monday. From the screenshots, Dark Mode on macOS Mojave looks STUNNING.

Mac apps like Mail, Messages, Maps, Calendar and Photos have a Dark Mode design. The one tease Apple did give us, however, is to share that some of the new macOS apps like Voice Memos and Stocks - which are coming in macOS Mojave this year - are really iOS apps that have been ported over using these new features. Stacks is an easy way to collate files of the same file type you have scattered around on your desktop.

Desktop stacks is Apple's new effort to help keep the macOS desktop clean for users.

Finder has a new gallery view where users can skim through files visually. This shows large-sized thumbnails of the files in the folder.

Quick Look provides a fast, full-size preview of a file, allowing users to rotate and crop images, mark up PDFs and trim video and audio clips without ever opening an app.

During the developer's conference, Apple also said it's planning to bring more iOS apps to macOS.

The new update will be available this spring for Aussie users.

A number of apps from developers, including Office 365 from Microsoft and Lightroom CC from Adobe will also soon find their way into the Mac App Store.

MacBook and iMac owners will be treated to some big new features this autumn with the launch of macOS Mojave.

The new Mac Store also lists all the apps that need to be updated in the separate, Updates Section.

"Apple is making changes to the core of how the browser works - surprisingly strong changes that should enable greater privacy", Kevin Beaumont, a cyber-security expert, was quoted as saying by the BBC. In 2018, it has introduced dedicated topic buttons including Work, Play, Create, Discover and Develop. The system will also prevent users from being tracked based on their system configuration.

Apple has announced the next version of macOS will be called Mojave. There is an enhanced Intelligent Tracking Prevention system to block social media buttons and comment widgets from tracking users. Apple strictly regulates all purchases made through iOS apps, and Steam Link would have bypassed Apple's control and share over the purchases.
