Hearn: Joshua-Wilder May Go To Wembley in October, November

The victor of a Joshua-Wilder bout would be the first man to hold all four heavyweight titles - WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO - simultaneously.

The WBC champion announced this week he had agreed to Joshua's demands and was ready to sign the contract for the heavyweight unification fight.

"I don't know if he's heard we're close to closing the Povetkin fight - or whether he actually wants to fight", the 38-year-old said.

"We have agreed to the terms that Eddie has put out to us for a fight in the U.K. Deontay has accepted his terms to fight in the U.K. Deontay sent an email to Joshua (Sunday) night and I sent one today to Barry Hearn and Eddie telling them that we officially accept the offer to fight under the terms they gave us and to send us the contract", Finkel said.

"If for any reason Anthony changes his mind and wants to fight in the U.S, the $50m offer we have made to him is still there".

That offer did not meet the requirements of Joshua and Hearn, with the duo edging towards a fight against Russian contender Alexander Povetkin in recent days.

If the Wilder fight is next up for Joshua, then the original plan of September 15 is now highly unlikely due to the lack of time involved, as well as the U.S. television clash with Canelo Alvarez's return from a drug's ban.

"We're going to be dealing with it and we're going to be making sure he gets the relevant paperwork". We see this as a Wembley fight and we're quite limited in that respect, obviously American pay-per-view and TV have to be considered so we've got to speak to them about what date suits them.

"We've got to get to the bottom of it all today".

As Wilder said, the ball is in the court of team Joshua now.

Wilder is so far unbeaten in 40 fights, and has 39 knockouts. "But obviously this Canelo fight on September 15 makes it a little more hard with U.S. TV".

Joshua wants to continue fighting on home soil and believes he is the A-side of negotiations because he owns three of the major world titles.

"People like to trash talk, but I do it in a more fun way unless it gets personal and then I'll give as good as I get".
