  • Casey was all smiles as he finished his third round

Britain's Paul Casey fired an eight-under par 62, matching the lowest round of his career, to seize a four-stroke lead after Saturday's third round of the US PGA Travelers Championship.

McCarron birdied Nos. 14-16 and parred the final two for his first victory of the season and seventh in three years on the PGA Tour Champions.

Casey sank six birdies, along with an eagle on the par four 15th after his tee shot found the green and he sank a 23-foot putt. But I can't control what [Casey] is doing. Three selections will be announced by Captain Jim Furyk following the Dell Technologies Championship scheduled to be completed on September 3, 2018, and the final selection will be announced after the BMW Championship, which is slated to be completed on September 9, 2018.

He now holds a four-shot lead with one round to play.

U.S. Open champion Brooks Koepka shot a 69 to get to 4 under. A stubborn squirrel interrupted Rory McIlroy as he was teeing off at the first tee. Teddy told me (about that approach shot), 'That's the best shot you ever hit.' And I had a couple of texts, Aaron Baddeley texted me and said, 'That's one of the best shots.' I said, yeah people don't know how hard that really is downwind and trying to get it to stop and check. "I was thinking about playing golf". He finished at 15-under 201 at University Ridge. "I think maybe the scoring was a little easier yesterday because we got to clean the ball in the fairways, but it's not easy out there". The 55-year-old Mexican player won the last of his four PGA Tour Champions titles in 2016.

The Englishman has finished in the top 20 in eight of his last nine tournaments.

PULHEIM, Germany - Danish golfer Lucas Bjerregaard shot a 5-under 67 to equal the week's lowest round for a six-way share of the lead after the third round of the BMW International Open.

ROGERS, Ark. - Nasa Hataoka and Minjee Lee each shot a 6-under 65 to share the second-round lead in the NW Arkansas Championship.

The 40-year-old comfortably converted the close-range putt for his sixth birdie of the round and his best score of the season, while Henley earned a place in Sunday's final pairing after he also went round bogey-free although he managed only three birdies in his 67. He almost drove the par-four ninth hole to guarantee a birdie, before sinking a 50-footer at the next to move within three.

"Everything around is just getting more electric", said Springfield, Mass. resident, Jerremy Roy, who said he has been coming to the Travelers Championship for the last 10 years. He sits at 16-under par for the tournament. "You're so far back, you've got to kind of make a move and if you shoot 10 (under), you never know what can happen".
