Demi Lovato will reportedly go to rehab after hospitalisation for drug overdose

She will be leaving the hospital and heading straight to rehab. Neither the exact type of methamphetamine Lovato had allegedly used nor the method in which she'd allegedly used the drug have been revealed. Her assistant found her unresponsive in her bed at around 11 AM on Tuesday and called 911.

Demi Lovato has always been open about her struggles with substance abuse and mental health issues.

Fans have taken to social media to share how pop star Demi Lovato has helped them to deal with their personal struggles.

"He was somber and quiet and you could tell he was in a very serious mood".

In the early hours of Wednesday morning, reports spread as we learnt Demi Lovato had been rushed to hospital in LA after suffering a drug overdose.

Lovato regained consciousness but refused to tell emergency responders what drugs she was using, according to TMZ. This is obviously a huge wake-up call. "This is definitely a medical emergency and we need to get there as fast as possible". She was administered Narcan, a well-known antidote for opioid overdose, and that might've been what saved her life. "I think everybody just wants her to be OK and there's no feeling that I can perceive of [people saying], 'How dare she?' or anything like that, " Lipshutz said.

Lovato has been touring and promoting her music in recent months. However, that decision will ultimately be hers. "The trouble is that Demi has been more successful than ever, and everyone wants a piece. She is a light in this world, and I am sending my love to her and her family".
