Forget scripts and song lyrics - actress Priyanka Chopra and musician Nick Jonas are reportedly ready to say "I do". PeeCee's exit was confirmed by the director of the film, Ali Abbas Zafar in a rather cryptic manner. Nikhil told Mid-Day, "Priyanka told us that she had to exit due to her engagement, two days ago". Last month, the couple spent time in India and Chopra acted as Jonas' plus-one at a family member's wedding.

Another source was quoted as saying, "Today Priyanka Chopra's a huge worldwide star and to be part of a film like Bharat, which is looking like an ensemble cast, day by day would not work for her image. It was a little unprofessional of her to do it so suddenly", Nikhil told Indian daily Mid-Day.

Reports of the engagement began after the director of the film Bharat, Ali Abbas Zafar, tweeted that Chopra was leaving the project because of a "very very special" reason, telling the filmmakers "in the Nick of time".

"Yes yes yes... We will announce the leading lady of 'Bharat' soon".
