Three days after CBS Corporation president Les Moonves was accused of decades of sexual harassment, Stephen Colbert had the unenviable task of addressing the allegations leveled against his boss.

After a couple more jokes, including one about how the CBS board is hiring outside lawyers to investigate (which is true) and they should just give the task to the network's new procedural, "CSI: CEO", Colbert moved on. Thus far, it does not seem advertisers are looking to pull their commercial time from the network, but it remains to be seen if marketers will take action with Moonves remaining at his roost.

The company is also scheduled to report quarterly earnings on Thursday and hold its annual shareholder meeting on Friday in Pasadena, California on August 10.

Julie added, "And I will stand by that statement today, tomorrow, forever". Having been in SC with no internet, Colbert "heard there was an article about CBS Chairman and man-I-hope-isn't-watching-tonight's-monologue Leslie Moonves".

Dinah Kirgo shared a similar story in which Moonves feigned interest in a business meeting only to pursue a dinner with her alone.

"While the emotional reaction is to sell CBS on the release of the long-rumored and damaging New Yorker article regarding CBS CEO Les Moonves, we believe the stock is undervalued", Gould noted.

The special committee is set to choose a law firm to lead the probe by mid-week, and determine whether Moonves should be suspended during the investigation, according to the Journal. When she rebuffed his advance and asked what he was doing, he replied, "Well, I was hitting on you".

Shares of CBS tumbled Friday and fell an additional 4.7 percent to $51.49 as of 9:46 NY. "Those were mistakes, and I regret them immensely", Moonves said. Moonves issued a statement apologizing for some of his past actions but reiterated that he never used his position of power to hinder anyone's career. "I don't know what's going to happen, but I do believe in accountability", Colbert told his audience. She is a former CBS news anchor who also hosts the "Big Brother" reality show.

"Regardless of Moonves' personal fate, his future and the future of nine other CBS board of directors is now in question".

"I recognize that there were times decades ago when I may have made some women uncomfortable by making advances", Moonves said.

Moonves has been very well compensated for his company's success.
