A 6.9-magnitude natural disaster struck Indonesia on Sunday, and a series of aftershocks also shook the country, the United States Geological Survey said.

Lombok, about 100 miles east of Bali, was rocked by a magnitude 6.4 quake less than a week ago that killed 16 people. Hopefully you are away from the coastline or up in a higher bldg until tsunami possibility passes, ' said a third.

The quake was felt for several seconds in Bali, where people ran out of buildings.

"The latest data we have is that 19 people are dead at Tanjung Hospital (North Lombok)", Agus Hendra Sanjaya, Mataram search and rescue spokesman, told AFP.

They said: "oh my god", "Bali". In December 2004, a massive magnitude 9.1 natural disaster off Sumatra triggered a tsunami that killed 230,000 people in a dozen countries.

The quake was about 6.5 miles deep, according to the USGS.

It comes just one week after the resort island was struck by a 6.4-magnitude quake that killed 16 and left hundreds of hikers stranded on a volcano.

Teigen also happened to be in a bit of a compromising situation when it hit: undressed, which is how she feels comfortable when breastfeeding her baby.

Lombok is known for its beaches, surfing, diving and snorkeling and is home to a sea turtle hatchery.

Indonesia is prone to earthquakes due to its location on the "Ring of Fire", an arc of volcanoes and fault lines encircling the Pacific Ocean.
