iPhone XS: Apple has confirmed an event for September 12, where it is expected to unveil three new iPhone models, along with Apple Watch Series 2, AirPods 2, and more products. The larger model will boast a 6.5-inch OLED screen - dwarfing the iPhone X's 5.8 inches and 5.5 inches for the iPhone 8 Plus, according to Bloomberg.

9to5Mac was able to get its hands on a promotional image for the Apple Watch Series 4, which apparently leaked out after Apple's announcement of its incoming event. Unofficially dubbed the iPhone X Plus, it's expected to have the largest screen on an iPhone to-date, but use the notched display and minimal bezels in order to accommodate it without being a monster in your pocket. There could also be a new Apple Watch and an updated version of the iPad Pro.

The leaked image also shows a new watch face that's chock full of information. Apparently, Apple will launch the iPhone XS in two variants.

Apple, as always, has remained tight-lipped about its product plans, and it's not clear how the company will pitch so many new models of the iPhone to customers.

Apple has historically held September events to show off new iPhone models, and this year the company is expected to stay true to that course.

Apple sent out invitations to its next special event on Thursday, and as usual, the internet reacted with excitement, anticipation, and a little confusion. Apparently, these two models are called the iPhone XS. Hopefully, it still packs the same waterproof rating as the Apple Watch Series 3. With September right around the corner, we won't have to wait long to see what Apple has up its sleeve. So, here is what all Apple might launch on September 12.

Nonetheless, if Apple does do away with the conventional button, millions more users will have to relearn the most basic UX of the iPhone (one that Steve Jobs frequently touted).
