RTE reports that Trump was expected to visit the golf course and capital city around the weekend of November 11 coinciding with a trip to Paris.
"We've got to work out on a programme and all the rest of it but I think any programme we will have will have to respect the fact that we will inaugurating our own President on the 11th of November". "We are still finalizing whether Ireland will be a stop on that trip", she said.
That offer was reiterated by Mr Varadkar last March. "Trump's values are not our values, and there should be no welcome mat laid out for a man of his world-view", the party said on its Twitter account earlier this month.
Varadkar reversed his longstanding opposition to a Trump visit after being elected prime minister a year ago, warning government officials to respect the office of the US president amid protest threats by various political parties.
Confusion surrounded the planned trip last night after the Irish government indicated that it had been cancelled, while a White House spokesman said that details were being finalised.

Mr Coveney said: "It will be controversial because everything Donald Trump does these days is controversial".
Brendan Howlin, the leader of the Irish Labour Party, accused Trump of being "no friend of democracy and human rights" in an August 31 tweet calling on people to join anti-Trump protests.
Taoiseach Leo Varadkar had previously expressed his surprise at news Trump would be taking up a standing invitation from the Irish Government.
