  • Harvey Weinstein Accuser Releases Video of Creepy Business Meeting Before Alleged Rape

A video of Harvey Weinstein aired on television Wednesday showing him boldly propositioning a woman who later accused him of rape and repeatedly touching her and stroking her arm and back during what was supposed to have been a business meeting.

A new video shows Harvey Weinstein inappropriately touching and making sexually suggestive comments to a woman during a business meeting.

Melissa Thompson says she went to meet Mr Weinstein at his NY offices in 2011 as a representative for a tech start-up that was pitching online video services.

Thompson said she later met Weinstein at a nearby hotel bar, where she said she expected to close the technology deal.

The video only captures the two from the waist up but does show Thompson reacting with discomfort and telling Weinstein: "That's too high".

Prosecutors argue they do not have the responsibility to turn over the emails because Weinstein could have given testimony about the alleged relationship himself, which he did not do. In the video, she noticeably squirms and says "that's a little high". "A little high. That's a little high".

"Inspection will reveal that the evidence before the grand jury amply supported the offenses charged, that the grand jury was properly instructed on the law, and that the integrity of the proceedings was unimpaired, and the People deny all allegations to the contrary, and oppose disclosure of the grand jury minutes to the defense", the filing in New York Supreme Court adds. I constantly felt trapped, no matter where I turned.

Brafman said the video shows "casual, if not awkward, flirting from both parties".

He is out on bail and has pleaded not guilty in NY to six counts allegedly committed against three women in 2004, 2006 and 2013.

Weinstein is seen asking Thompson.

Thompson told Sky News he then ran his hand up her skirt.

Thompson told Sky News: "Now I see he's trying, in any way he can, to move me into that zone of comfortable then uncomfortable and confused, and vulnerable, and recognizing that he's powerful and I'm not, and that I need this deal from him, and he has the power to give it to me". "He cornered me, over and over again". "I thought I could handle it". The then 28-year-old said she also recorded the interaction as part of her demo. "It was produced by Ms. Thompson to bolster her position in a civil lawsuit seeking money. This is a further attempt to publicly disgrace Mr. Weinstein for financial gain, and we will not stand for it". Today, Thompson released video of the encounter in a report published by the UK's Sky News. At one point, he appears genuinely interested in using her service, instructing her to tell her boss to sign him up. Instead, she says she was asked to follow Weinstein upon arriving at the hotel to what she thought would be a conference room, but was actually his private hotel room.

So far, over 80 women have accused the producer of sexual misconduct, assault or rape.
